An Arteecollage Valentines Day

Men's graphic tee shirt arteecollage grey v-neck tattoo
If you’ve somehow managed to forget that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner then where have you been? Already most shops have a huge banner in the window or fake roses at the till by now! I think this is the worst time of year, not for the singletons, but for the guys who have the pressure of taking a girl out. Not only have they got to choose what to do and where to go but also what to wear. Thankfully Arteecollage, and their cool graphic tee shirts, is on hand to help!
The Arteecollage Tattoo V-neck T-Shirt is a good place to start. Not only is it comfortable but the retro style t-shirt also features a unique, hand-drawn print from artist Paul Engeris – adding an interesting dynamic to the look. Although you want to be comfortable, you don’t want to look too casual. To prevent any risk of this, add a black blazer from H&M to the style. At a rather reasonable price of £29.99 as it’s really more of an investment piece and staple for your wardrobe essentials. Having one button done-up or leaving the blazer open keeps the look smart casual, without it being too formal.

The next step is these ace Monkee Classic Skinny Jeans from Topman that are more casual than suit trousers but the dark blue keeps them smarter than your every day wear. Although £60 is quite steep, similar to the blazer, the classic design of the jeans mean they will be an investment that can be worn again and again! Finally, these brogues from ASOS with leather soles complete the dapper look. The suede leather makes them a little more special than your average brogue and together with the rest of the outfit, will get your date off to a great start!
Happy wooing, guys!

Fashion Fit with Arteecollage

womens sports top arteecollage
I’ve been contemplating going to the gym since the start of January but as yet, have done nothing about it. This is due to a busy time with work and university but also because I have nothing to wear. I’m pretty sure if I could find some great sports tops and trousers which made me look and feel good, I would be much more likely to go on a regular basis! Aside from the necessities – a good sports bra and proper trainers – you can pretty much wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
In order to boost my chances of going, I’ve opted for buying a new gym wardrobe which includes this Arteecollage Racer Back Tank top in white. Because it’s made from Modal fabric, I know it’s going to be gentle on my skin while I’m not so gentle on the treadmill! As it is slim fit I opted to buy it in a bigger size for optimum movement and at £7.50 it’s not going to break the bank, which is rare since the quality is great.

H&M are doing some great sportswear at the moment so I purchased three-quarter length running tights for £19.99. They are made from breathable fabric and the tights also feature ventilation behind the knees which helps to keep my skin cool and dry. Now for the fun part – trainers. There is so much selection to suit not only different fitness needs, but also different styles! I’ve opted for Nike In season TR ladies trainers from Sports direct for £37.99 which I thought was a reasonable price for good quality, beneficial trainers.
Finally, underneath my Arteecollage racer tank top is a Supernova sports bra from Adidas. Again, like the trainers, it is vital for us ladies to invest in order to have the right support! The fabric removes any trace of sweat and the cross straps in the back, as well as the square neck, add extra support.
I can’t wait to try out my new gym outfit and am now raring to go because the sheer comfort of all these elements mean you don’t need to sacrifice your style when working up a sweat!

Arteecollage: Casual Outfit Of The Day

I started my final semester of university on Monday and am now faced with the dreaded dissertation. And with the imminent agonising over hours stuck in the library and fidgeting until I can piece together a sentence, I need to be comfortable. But whilst spending all-nighters reading books and bashing at my keyboard, I still need to be stylish – you never know who you’ll bump into!
Today I’ve chosen this Arteecollage Asymmetric Modal top in grey. I can always rely on Arteecollage for chic, classic garments and the modal fabric is so comfortable and easy to wear. You can tell by looking at the fabric that it is high quality and looks much more luxurious than your typical basic wardrobe essentials. Despite all this detail, the grey modal top is in the Arteecollage sale for only £9! The quality makes the top practical to wear casually during the day at university, or for a more casual trip to the bar post dissertation writing!

I paired this Arteecollage Asymmetric top with Topshop MOTO Indigo Leigh skinny jeans. These are the comfiest jeans I have tried in a long time and are perfect for a day of sitting whilst writing. I prefer jeans to leggings in this winter weather as they keep me far warmer. As the Arteecollage modal top is quite simple, I added a twined cord pink necklace from H&M for a touch of colour and sparkle. On my feet I have pink ballet pumps from River Island for £16 which ties in with the pink necklace.
For a practical way to carry my books I used my grey tote bag from New Look which I thought was great value at just £15. To finish off my outfit, today I’m also wearing a russet brown cardigan from Aphix and layered it under my duffel coat because it was minus four degrees this morning! Brrr!

There is also only one week left to enter the Arteecollage draw to win £100 of clothing:

Arteecollage: Boy Talk

Since hitting the sales and not really racking for anything in particular, I’ve found myself browsing in the men’s clothing sections. One of my favourite hoodies is one I bought last year from the men’s range at H&M and was actually cheaper than a similar one in the women’s section! Arteecollage have an amazing sale on everything (both womenswear and menswear) so I don’t need to worry about price when I’m having a nosey around.
Surprisingly the men’s t-shirts really appealed to me. The King Eagle V t-shirt particularly caught my eye with its cool, hand-drawn print. You can imagine how happy I was when I discovered this modal t-shirt is the ‘Deal of the day’ on the Arteecollage website for £8.50 (usually £30) until the 14th of January!
The printed tee shirt comes in a slim fit so I bought it in a large to achieve that baggy boyfriend look. Like many Arteecollage garments, it’s made with soft modal fabric, meaning you can be urban chic whilst being utterly comfortable!
For a casual look, I pair this deep v-neck tee with some black sawyer leather panel leggings from Missguided. The fitted appearance of the leggings contrasts well with the loose fit of the men’s graphic t-shirt, giving the look a feminine touch. I talked about creating a capsule wardrobe in my last post and I think leggings can be added to this as it can be worn with so many different garments.

To keep warm in our typical, rubbish British January weather, I layer-up with the H&M hoody I mentioned above. Not only is it really soft but adds a splash of colour to the outfit and at £14.99, it won’t break the bank!
This look is super comfy and easy to wear, which calls for some equally comfortable footwear. These Nike Hally Hoop trainers are simple but cool so they won’t clash with the panel leggings. I spotted these ones in Office but there is such a large collection from Nike that you could mix and match different colours and styles to suit your personality.
Finishing off the look, I’ve opted for this red Columbia Beanie Hat, £18, which is available online. The bold hue works wonders to complete this laid-back, off-duty look and definitely adds to the cosy factor!
So, next time you’re browsing the Arteecollage website, don’t forget to check out the men’s section and raid your boyfriend’s wardrobe for inspiration on how to complete this look with ease!

Arteecollage Black Modal Tank

Hey guys!
If you read my previous post then you will know I'm going to be a guest blogger for Arteecollage. My first post is now live and you can check it out here. I'm still trying to get into the style of blogging that suits the brand as well as putting my own stamp on it so it will take me a few weeks to get into the swing of it! Each post will also be blogged on Fergie's Fashion Fun too so you can also check out my first post below and let me know what you think!
It’s that time of year again when we reflect on the months passed and attempt to make resolutions that we are bound to break. To kick-start a new era, I’ve endeavoured to cleanse my wardrobe. Too often does a typical morning entail standing before my crammed wardrobe and being lost for something to wear. But, as a resolution, I’m taking my wardrobe back to basics with the help of Arteecollage clothing.
Firstly, I’m overhauling my wardrobe with this Women’s Black Modal Tank Vest. Flattering with its dark hue, which is just what I need after raiding the Quality Street tin over Christmas, this women’s plain black top can be easily adapted to any occasion. The black modal vest is on sale at £12 so it won’t break the bank and is a steal considering the luxe Modal fabric.

To achieve an urban chic look, I pair my black Arteecollage vest with Oasis Khaki Jeans, which makes this outfit ideal and easy to wear for a lunch date or for evening cocktails. Throw on a Topshop Zip charm collar and a pair of Miss Selfridge Black Point Court Heels and the effortless look is complete!

For the transition into night, a skirt is a must. This Ursula Heavy Sequin mini skirt from is perfect. The Aztec print catches the eye and complements the Arteecollage vest by setting it off effortlessly. For accessories, this short necklace from River Island draws attention without taking away from the detail of the skirt. The Miss Selfridge heels are used here again as the simplicity of the heels do not distract from the standout skirt.
This black modal vest can easily become a staple in any wardrobe and be worn for just about any occasion in 2013. The adaptability means that it can be paired with different accessories and garments to create a totally different look every day of the week!

New Year New Adventures!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fun time welcoming in the new year! I spent it looking after Max in a parental sandwich which is not so rock and roll but I enjoyed it none the less!
My first post of the year comes bearing exciting news! I am going to be guest blogging over at ArteeCollage every week from tomorrow! For those of you who haven't heard of the brand, here is how ArteeCollage describe themselves -
'We are a new fashion brand purveying original graphic artwork that blends cutting edge aesthetics with luxury materials to form a compelling mix of covetable style. Inspired by London’s cosmopolitan and diverse culture, we work with an emphasis on independent, design led fashion and with impeccable attention to detail.'

They operate under ethical trading as well as being aware of their impact on the environment and the importance of encouraging young people. I will be getting to know the brand better through every post and I hope you will too! Many of the woman's garments in particular are basic but very versatile and of high quality. This means the clothes can be a staple in any wardrobe to be worn casually or dressed up. Hopefully this opportunity will develop my blogging style and therefore help my own blog grow.
